"Oh, how can this be?"-I have a nice emo band for you to listen to upon your return.
Anywho, it's too late - or should I say early? - to type it all out now, but sometime later today I will copy up the notes I wrote out concerning L.I.T.A.M. on here. Until then...
Update: Here are the notes.L.I.T.A.M.Public Meaning: Lost in Time and Music
True Meaning: Lost in Thought and Manipulation
Revised Scene Ideas:
Varations in speed during performance. During parts of the moves, speed will go from normal to slow. Speed will never be beyond the normal. The shot could turn to grayscale when it is at a slower speed.
Reasons for this are:
1. Relates to both the public and true meanings of the name. Consider it an artistic relation.
2. Creates a strong emphasis on displays during the moves.
3. Extends the time of the scene allowing more of a song to be used as well as increasing the overall time of the film.
Potential songs for the scene:
1. Snow Patrol-Somewhere a clock is ticking (Artistic relation but lyrical issues)
2. Three Days Grace-Time of dying (Heavy beat but not best option)
3. Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko Soundtrack)-Time Travel (not much of a beat and long intro)
4. D.J. Shadow-Midnight in a perfect world (lyrics could be a problem)
5. BMG-Mandelgroove (awkward beat, but still pretty good)
6. Appleseed Cast-The Clock and The storm (interesting instrumentals and strong artistic relation)
7. D.J. Shadow-Stem/Long Stem/Transmission 2 (This is beautiful except a few spots in the song. Fast beat at points, but the problem is vocal overdubs.)
8. Paul Oakenfold-Hypnotised (If only there weren't vocals)
9. Radiohead-A lot of possible songs but vocals become an issue.
If we used an audio program like ACID we might be able to get rid of vocals which would be very nice.
